Bhubaneswar: As many as six students reportedly fell sick after consuming mid-day meal at Baniasia Primary School under Kedarpur panchayat under Soro block in Balasore district on Saturday.
According to sources, at least 35 students were served egg curry and rice in lunch. However, six of them complained of stomach pain and chest pain soon after eating egg curry and rice. Teachers, without delay, rushed the ailing students to Soro Hospital in 108 ambulance.
The condition of all the ailing students named Janmajay Das, Subhalakhmi Behera, Rajashree Behera, Subhalakhmi Panda, Bhagyasri Das and Bidusmita Behera is stated to be stable after primary treatment.
