Bhubaneswar: As many as 512 large industrial projects with investments worth Rs 11, 85, 281.40 crore were cleared through the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) during the last five years (from 2020 to March 2024) in Odisha.
This was revealed in the Odisha Assembly by Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain in a written reply to a query by BJP MLA from Bhatli Irasis Acharya on Friday.
These industries are estimated to generate 5,71,303 jobs, the Minister added.
He said that out of these industrial projects as of now 30 large projects have become partly or fully operationalised.
When fully operational it is estimated that it will incur an investment of Rs 19,528.66 crore and generate 20251 jobs, he added.
