Snake Scare Grips Odisha's Bhadrak, 42 Cobras Rescued In One Day

Bhadrak: Snake scare has gripped Bhadrak district as locals are discovering cobras in their houses every single day. On Wednesday, 42 cobras were rescued from residential areas following which panic struck the villagers.

In Gokhadika Sahi under Dhamnagar police limits, 36 cobras were found in one Laxmidhar Mallick's house. In Baiiapatana village, 6 snakes were rescued from one Biswanath Sahoo's home.

The reptiles were spotted by residents who immediately informed forest officials about the matter. On intimation, officials reached the spot, rescued the snakes and freed them in a nearby jungle.
