Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday arrested Dayanidhi Bagh, Joint Director of Soil Conservation and Watershed Development in Bhubaneswar, for possessing disproportionate assets.
As per reports, Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on eight locations across Bhubaneswar, Kalahandi, and Nabarangapur districts on June 30, 2025, uncovering substantial assets, including two buildings, a three-BHK flat, 84 acres of land with two farmhouses, 312 grams of gold, bank deposits exceeding Rs. 58 lakhs, and a benami Brezza car.
Koraput Vigilance registered a case against Bagh. After being placed under arrest, he will be forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna. The investigation is underway.
