Bhubaneswar: Sonepur has been recorded as the coldest place in the State with a temperature of 8.8 degree Celsius, as informed by the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Wednesday.
Reportedly, 17 places in Odisha have recorded temperature below 15 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.
A temperature of 8.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Sonepur, followed by 9 degree in Phulbani, 10 degree in Angul, 10.5 degree in Daringbadi and 11.5 degree in Bhawanipatna.
Similarly, a temperature of 12.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Keonjhar, followed by 12.3 degree in Talcher, 12.5 degree in Baripada, 12.6 degree in Koraput and 12.9 degree in Jharsuguda.
Further, a temperature of 13 degree Celsius was recorded in Sundargarh, followed by 14 degree in Boudh, 14.2 degree in Cuttack, 14.5 degree in Titilagarh and 14.6 degree in Chandbali and Sambalpur.
Finally, Bhubaneswar recorded a temperate of 15 degree Celsius.
