Bhubaneswar: Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for implementation of Subhadra Yojana for empowering women will be issued on August 15, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
Parida said that the modalities and eligibility criteria for Subhadra Yojana like who will be eligible and who will be not eligible will be made clear in the SOP.
She added that Subhadra Yojana will be implemented in the State on September 17.
The Deputy Chief Minister further informed that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has already made an outlay of Rs 10,000 crore for the Yojana in this year’s annual budget.
She said that the Yojana aims to empower women by providing them assistance in setting up small enterprises like cottage industries, makeshift shops, etc.
Subhadra Yojana is a flagship women’s welfare scheme of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP government which has been named after Devi Subhadra.
