Koraput: Spurious gutkha packets worth around Rs 50 lakh were seized during a raid on a gutkha manufacturing unit on Koraput-Damanjodi road on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the raid had been conducted by Semiliguda Police. The owner of the manufacturing unit was arrested.
Sunabeda SDPO Manoj Kumar Behera informed that the owner is a native of Hyderabad.
Huge quantity of gutkha and tobacco products and 11 machines were seized from the factory.
