**Bhubaneswar**: Odia sprinter Srabani Nanda, who had participated in the 200 metre sprint in the Rio Olympics 2016, said though she was not happy with the timing but the experience she gained will definitely help her fulfill her dream in the next Olympics.
Speaking to reporters, the ace sprinter, who arrived here this afternoon, said she was nervous and excited as this was her first Olympics.
“It was my first Olympics and I have gained good experience after playing with so many talented athletes from across the world which is a rare opportunity,” the sprinter said with a smile.
“I am dedicating this to my coach, family and friends for their continuous support and love. I am also very thankful to my Sports Hostel in Kalinga Stadium from where I had started my sports career,” Srabani added.
Banabihari Nanda, father of Srabani, who had accompanied the sprinter to Rio, said he is very happy with the performance of his daughter and will continue his unflinching support, which according to him, is vital for a sportsperson.
