Puri: Enquiry into the Puri Narendra Pond firecracker explosion by Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Satyabrata Sahu began at the Circuit House here today.
The enquiry process which began at around 3.00 PM is slated to continue till 7.00 PM, reports said.
Eyewitnesses, Puri police, SP, Fire Service department officials and Shree Jagannath Temple Administration officials are to record their statements before the SRC.
Individuals who transported the injured to the hospital, shopkeepers near Narendra Pond, relatives and family members of the injured and deceased persons will also record their statements before the SRC.
In the meanwhile, the death toll in the Puri firecracker explosion has risen to 14.
