Bhubaneswar: In view of incidents of damage to power and falling of trees due to thunderstorm/ lightning in different districts today afternoon, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has directed all District Collectors to coordinate with Discoms (power distribution companies) for immediate restoration of power supply.
The SRC has advised to utilize the services of local Fire Services for the removal of uprooted trees/ broken tree trunks.
The District Collectors have been further asked to report damages to houses and any casualties /injuries due to thunderstorm /lightning.
