Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik along with the Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhushan Harichandan participated in the inauguration of Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple here on Thursday. Visakha Saradha Peetham pontiff Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman YV Subba Reddy, TTD priests, officials and special invitees were present on the occasion.
In his Anugraha Bhashanam on the auspicious occasion, the Pontiff complimented TTD for taking up the protection and promotion of Hindu Sanatana Dharma in a big way across the country in the form of constructing Sri Venkateswara temples, Gau Samrakshana, Veda Parirakshana etc. under the instructions of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On the occasion, the AP Governor said, the newly constructed Srivari temple at Bhubaneswar is a benign blessing of Lord Venkateswara Himself to the people of Odisha. “Those who are unable to go for a pilgrimage to Tirumala, can do the darshan here and seek blessings of the Lord, he said.
