Puri: A photo of Lord Jagannath and His siblings on the Ratna Singhasan at Puri Jagannath Temple has gone viral on social media, raising concerns about temple security.
According to reports, the image, posted on Instagram by user ‘ashirbad945’, appears to be a collage, with the person’s photo taken outside the temple edited alongside the deity’s image. The holy trinity, along with Lord Sudarshan on the Ratna Singhasan, can be seen in the snap.
The incident has sparked outrage, with many questioning how the photo was taken inside the restricted area despite security measures and prohibitory orders in place. This is not an isolated incident, and the breach has raised concerns about the safety and security of the sacred site.
It is yet to be ascertained under which circumstances the accused person managed to enter the temple premises with his smartphone.
The district administration and police are yet to comment on the incident.
