Bhubaneswar: A day prior to the 74th Independence Day of India, the stage has been set for its celebration ceremony at the Exhibition Ground in Unit-3 area of the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
Reportedly, the ceremony is scheduled to commence at 9 AM and will be graced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as the Chief Guest. Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, DGP Abhay among other dignitaries are going to attend the ceremony.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the celebration will be a low-key affair by not organising parade or march past this year. The participation of the general public would be restricted.
Contingents of Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP), Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) and SS Battalion are going to participate in the ceremony for offering compliments to the Chief Guest during the celebration.
