Balasore: A day after one person of a family died due to consumption of stale food in Balasore, another member of the family also passed away.
Reportedly, six members of a family from Dadhibamanpur village in Kanheibidha panchayat of Simulia block had on Tuesday night consumed the leftover food prepared for a feast during the day.
Six of the family members were taken to the local hospital where an elderly woman identified as Laxmi Das succumbed. The other five persons were shifted to Cuttack.
Last night, another youth identified as Pradeep Kumar Das died during treatment. The remaining four, including a 12-year-old boy, are being treated at a private hospital.
