**Cuttack:** A minor stampede at the Dhabaleswar Temple in Athagarh here caused death of a bol bom devotee on Monday. The devotee was identified as Thukuri Pradhan.
According to sources, the deceased was about to carry sacred Mahanadi water to the Kapilash Temple in Dhenkanal from here.
In the mean time, a stampede broke out outside the temple premises and injured many devotees, standing in queue.
Critically injured, Phukuri was rushed to the Athagarh Community Health Centre where he was declared dead.
