State Govt Alerts Districts, Departments For Bharat Bandh On Nov 29

Bhubaneswar: The State Government has issued an alert to the districts and different Department heads in Bhubaneswar over the Bharat Bandh call by Rashtriya Pichhda Warg Morcha (RPBM) on November 29.

Dharnas and demonstrations are expected to happen at multiple places so the Collectors have been asked to take preventive measures to maintain law and order and ensure continuity of essential services in their districts.

Similarly, for the Capital City, the Home Department has advised Departments to ask their employees to reach office in Lok Seva Bhavan, Kharvela Bhavan, Heads of Departments Building and Rajiv Bhavan by 9:30 am.

While entry of visitors to Lok Seva Bhavan will restricted on Tuesday (November 29), the front gates will be glosed at 10:15 am and passage will be regulated through the rear gate.

The Bharat Bandh call has been given by the RPBM protesting liberalisation, changes in Constitution, EVMs, etc.
