Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Wednesday granted approval for earmarking land measuring 14.45 acres in Rourkela for setting up a Technology Centre. The technology centre will come up at Unit No 30, Kantajhar under Rourkela tehsil in Sundargarh district. The land will be alienated in favour of the Development Commissioner (MSME, New Delhi) through the Director, MSME-DI, Cuttack.
The new Technology Centre at Rourkela will be one of its kinds and an aspirational advance version of CTTC, Bhubaneswar equipped with latest technologies.
“The Technology Centres will be set up and operated by Government of India or its institution will accrue immense benefits to the industry and skill seekers of the catchment area particularly by way of training in the field of high end technologies,” a note issued by the State Government read.
