Bhubaneswar: The State Government has allowed senior IAS officer Vijay Arora to retire from the Indian Administrative Service voluntarily with effect from March 1, 2022. Arora, serving as an OSD in the GA & PG Department is an Odisha-cadre IAS officer of the 1991 batch. In January this year, Arora was promoted to the Chief Secretary grade. The State Government approved Arora’s voluntary retirement as he had completed 30 years of service and attained 50 years of age, a notification issued by the GA & PG department stated.
