Bhubaneswar: The State-Level Kala Utsav–2025 was inaugurated on Wednesday at the premises of Government Girls’ High School, Unit-6, Bhubaneswar. The SPD, OSEPA, Ananya Das, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
While addressing the gathering, Das appreciated the efforts of talented students from different zones of Odisha and stated that Odisha has always made a unique contribution in the field of art. She emphasised that such programmes serve as a vital platform for students to express their inner talents and creativity. She also expressed hope that the students’ outstanding performances at the state level would lead them to greater success at the national level.
Renowned film actress Meghna Mishra, who attended the event as the Guest of Honour, interacted with the children and highlighted the importance of art in life. She inspired them to think creatively, stay aware, feel deeply, and transform their ideas into meaningful action.
On this occasion, Sangita Behera, Additional Director, OSEPA, delivered the welcome address, while Sujatabala Das, Headmistress of the school, addressed the students, encouraging them to participate with enthusiasm. Dr. Santosh Kumar Raut, Joint Director, OSEPA, extended a vote of thanks to all dignitaries and officials for their valuable time and participation.
140 students from six zones across Odisha are participating in the State-Level Kala Utsav–2025, which will continue for two days at the Government Girls’ High School, Unit-6, Bhubaneswar.
