Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) has recommended forfeiture of property worth Rs 25 lakh owned by one Anil Kumar Pandi, in connection with a ganja seizure case. Pandi, a native of Kodala in Ganjam district has been booked by the STF in a case registered in August 2021.
Two vehicles, a Bolero, and an XUV were seized by the STF in this case, following the seizure of ganja weighing 10 quintals on August 13, 2021. In continuation to a financial investigation, in this case, the STF identified and seized the assets and recommended the same to the Competent Authority and Administrator of NDPS Act, Kolkata, for forfeiture.
“Pandi is one of the most wanted drug traffickers having involved in 11 NDPS cases in Gujarat. Earlier his brother Sunil Pandi was arrested by Gujarat police. Pandi is absconding and evading arrest,” the STF stated.
