Bhadrak: A stray bull climbed a 50-foot-high water tank in the Saya panchayat area under Tihidi block, leaving locals and administrative officials wondering.
The fire tender unit remained on its toes for around nine hours on Thursday in a dramatic rescue operation that successfully brought down the bull safely.
The incident, which began at 10 AM on Thursday, drew a large crowd of onlookers who watched in amusement as the bull refused to come down. A team of officials from the Animal Resources department, Tihidi BDO, and Tehsildar were present at the scene, working alongside the fire services personnel to rescue the animal.
After the hour-long rescue operation, the fire department finally managed to bring the bull down safely. Fortunately, the bull’s condition is reported to be normal.
