Puri: A pack of stray dogs reportedly mauled a deer to death at Bhudan under Talabania police limits of Puri district on Saturday.
The deer was searching for food when it was attacked by the dogs. While locals shooed the dogs away, the deer succumbed to injuries.
By the time the forest department officials arrived at the spot, the deer had passed away for not receiving timely treatment.
