Bhubaneswar: The body of a Plus II 1st year science student was found hanging in a private coaching centre at Salepur in Cuttack district.
The deceased has been identified as Om Prakash Sethy.
Hailing from Mundilo village in Kendrapada district, Om Prakash was residing at the coaching center and preparing for the annual examination.
According to reports, Om Prakash was found hanging in his room, and was rushed to Salepur Community Health Centre, where he was declared dead. His mother has alleged foul play, claiming that her son was murdered over a dispute regarding coaching fees.
The coaching center authorities are yet to comment on the incident. The police have launched an investigation into the matter to ascertain the exact cause of Om Prakash’s death.
