Bhubaneswar: A devastating incident has occurred at the Anwesha Hostel in Hianal, under Kantabanji police station in Balangir district. A student identified as Adarsh Seth, a resident of Belapada area in Patnagarh, lost his life in the hostel premises.
According to reports, Adarsh was a student of Lions Public School in Kantabanji and had returned to the hostel on September 3 after visiting his village for the Nuakhai festival. On Saturday, his body was found under suspicious circumstances. The hostel authorities informed the Kantabanji police.
The police immediately launched an investigation and reached out to the student’s family. Adarsh’s mother arrived at the hostel after being informed about the incident. While the exact cause of death remains unknown, the incident has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the student’s demise.
