Student Stabbed At BB College In Mayurbhanj, Rushed To SCB In Critical Condition

Bhubaneswar:  A Plus II student of BB College at Baigana Badia in Mayurbhanj district sustained critical injuries after being stabbed by a fellow student on campus on Monday.

The injured student, identified as Prahalad Bindhani, was initially rushed to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Baripada. As his condition deteriorated due to severe injuries and internal bleeding, he was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. His condition is stated to be critical.

According to sources, the incident has sparked widespread outrage, with locals and students protesting outside the college, seeking justice for the victim. The college gate has been locked, and tensions are running high in the area.

Kuliana police, meanwhile, have detained the accused student and are investigating the matter.
