Bhubaneswar: Those students who do not have examinations due, and are residing in hostels in Bhubaneswar have been asked to vacate the premises immediately.
Through an order, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today directed educational institutions to ensure that the students should vacate as soon as their exams are over. And those who do not have any exams due should go home. The parents must be communicated about this by the institution, the BMC stated.
On the other hand, those students who have exams need to follow COVID protocols appropriately with discipline in the hostels. Proper use of mask, social distancing and hand hygiene needs to be practised, especially in mess, corridors and common rooms, the BMC’s order read.
“The institute authorities will be fully responsible to ensure COVID protocols and well being of their students.”
