Bhubaneswar: Submission of forms for the Odisha government’s Subhadra Yojana begins on Wednesday. The application forms are available free of cost at the Anganwadi centers, block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras.

The first installment of the Subhadra Yojana is scheduled to be released on September 17 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches the scheme in Bhubaneswar. Women applicants who duly fill up the forms and submit them at the nearby Mo Seva Kendra or Jana Seva Kendra will receive their first installment of the financial assistance on September 17.

Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will receive Rs 5,000 each in two installments in a financial year and Rs 50,000 in five years. The money will be directly credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries can also call the toll-free toll-free number 14678 issued by the state government for any information regarding the Subhadra Yojana.
