Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Thursday reassured that the verification process of the applicants for Subhadra Yojana would be completed within 15 days.
She added that girls who would turn 21 this month are eligible for the financial aid under the Subhadra Yojana. Speaking to the media, Parida said that the Odisha government is committed to including eligible beneficiaries whose applications were rejected due to various reasons. “All eligible beneficiaries, who were rejected earlier, will be included in the upcoming fourth phase of the first installment,” she added.
“In many places women could not avail the benefits of Subhadra Yojana as their applications were not submitted properly. Now, we are fast-tracking the verification process and will complete it within 15 days,” the Deputy Chief Minister added.
Till now, the government has received more than 1.6 crore applications.
