Bhubaneswar: Shubalakshmi Sahu, a student at Ramadevi University here, passed away at the Deepali Bar and Hotel in Bhubaneswar, leaving everyone in suspense and suspicion.
The autopsy report for Shubalakshmi has arrived on time and it suggests that she died due to asphyxiation. To pinpoint the precise cause of death, the viscera have been transferred to the forensic lab.
To determine whether Shubalakshmi used drugs the day of the occurrence or if she was poisoned, the viscera have been sent to the forensic lab for testing. The police is investigating into all angles of the case.
Her cause of death will become obvious when the viscera report is out, the police said.
More than ten persons, including her relatives and friends, have been questioned by Lakxmi Sagar police in relation to Shubalakshmi’s death.
Additionally, Shubalakshmi’s male acquaintance was called and interrogated. Just 15 to 20 days earlier, Shudalakshmi broke up with this companion, sources said.
