Bhubaneswar: International sand sculptor Sudarsan Pattnaik created a massive sand art on Puri beach, urging the citizens of India to participate in the Harghar Tiranga campaign, a call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The 4 feet and 8 feet long sand art show the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a tri-colour and the India map. Patnaik took around five hours to create the gigantic art using five tons of sand on Puri beach.

“Let’s foster national unity and pride and reignite the spirit of #HarGharTiranga on the occasion of this #Independence Day on the clarion call of Hon’ble PM @narendramodi  ji. Urging the nation to change the DP to selfie with Tiranga. My sand art at Puri beach in Odisha,” Pattnaik posted on his X handle along with his sand art.

The Padma Shri awardee artist has also changed his own DP on his X handle.

Through his sand art, Patnaik appealed to every Indian to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign’ and keep their selfie on social media accounts.

The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to make the significance of the national flag accessible to every citizen and revive feelings of patriotism
