Sudarsan Pattnaik Pays Sandy Tribute To Biju Babu On His 105th Birth Anniversary

Puri: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture paying tributes to former Odisha Chief Minister Bijayananda Patnaik, popularly known as Biju Patnaik or Biju Babu, on his 105th birth anniversary on Friday.

Sudarsan created a sand portrait of the legendary leader on the Puri sea beach with the message “Tribute To The TALL MAN BIJU BABU”. He used six tonnes of sand and invested three hours to create the sculpture.

It is worthwhile to mention that in commemoration of the 105th birth anniversary of Biju Babu, the ruling BJD has decided to mark the occasions by holding a massive cycle rally and blood donation camps.

Both the events will be organized from March 5 (birth anniversary) to April 17 (death anniversary) as advised by its supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
