Bhubaneswar: In a heartfelt tribute to Odisha’s valiant freedom fighters, renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created two remarkable sand sculptures at Puri Beach on their birth anniversaries today.
The works honored two iconic leaders—Subhas Chandra Bose and Veer Surendra Sai.
Pattnaik’s sand art of Veer Surendra Sai captured the spirit of the freedom fighter with intricate details, including vibrant coloring in the background that featured the Indian tricolor.
The sculpture was accompanied by the inscription, “Great Freedom Fighter Veer Surendra Sai,” paying homage to his heroic contributions.

Similarly, the sand sculpture of Subhas Chandra Bose depicted the leader riding a horse, with a colorful Indian tricolor backdrop. The words “Jai Hind” were elegantly etched into the sand, creating a striking visual representation of the leader’s legacy.
