Bhubaneswar: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik’s largest sand hockey stick has set a new world record.
Patnaik’s sand sculpture of Largest Sand Hockey Stick which was created the banks of Mahanadi river in Cuttack has been placed in the World Records India.
Today founder Paavan Solanki, HOD Sushma Narvekar and Senior Adjudicator Sanjay Narvekar of World Records India certified the installation sand art of Hockey stick as World’s largest sand hockey stick.
Pattnaik had built a unique sculpture, 105 ft long with the installation of 5,000 hockey balls and set a new record on January 10, at Cuttack.
To create this sculpture 15 students of his sand art Institute helped him. Pattnaik is a world renowned sand artist who has created many records including the Guinness records.
“Today I feel very Happy to get this certificate from World Records India,” he said.
