Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a stunning sand art installation featuring 101 idols of Lord Jagannath on Puri Beach to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra.
This magnificent sculpture showcases Pattnaik’s exceptional skill and devotion, capturing the essence of the sacred festival.
Pattnaik shared his latest creation on social media, expressing his devotion with the caption, “Jai Jagannath! On the auspicious occasion of Maha Prabhu #Rathyatra, I created a Sand Art installation with 101 idols of Maha Prabhu Jagannath at #Puri Beach, Odisha. May His blessings guide us all.”
The magnificent sand art installation, featuring 101 idols of Lord Jagannath, was crafted using approximately 4.5 tonnes of sand. Students from Sudarsan Pattnaik’s Sand Art Institute lent their hands to bring this masterpiece to life.
Titled ‘Jai Jagannath – A Journey of Faith and Unity’, the artwork embodies the profound cultural and spiritual significance of Rath Yatra, symbolizing the festival’s message of unity and devotion.
