Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri recipient Sudarsan Pattnaik, on the occasion of Ram Navami, created an amazing sand sculpture of Lord Sri Ram on the Puri Beach in Odisha.
Ram Navami is being celebrated across the country with pomp and gaiety on Wednesday. A large number of devotees thronged Ram Mandir in the state capital.
On this occasion, eminent sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sculpture featuring Bal Ram. Sudarsan’s 20-ft long sand art became viral on social media soon after Pattnaik posted the spectacular sculpture of Lord Ram on his X handle.
Taking to Twitter, Patnaik wrote: “On the auspicious occasion of #RamNavami. 20ft long my Sand art at Puri beach in Odisha. Jai Shri Ram.”
Earlier, Pattnaik had created a sand artwork of Lord Ram holding a lighted diya in his hands.
Known for spreading awareness through his sand sculpture, Pattnaik has participated in more than 65 international sand art competitions and festivals around the world and won many prizes for the country.
