The test vehicle blasted off from the first launch pad at the rocket port here.
The lift-off was originally scheduled at 8 a.m. but owing to weather condition and poor visibility it was rescheduled for 8.45 a.m.
But it finally lifted off only at 10 a.m. after technical glitches were sorted.
