Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s newest healthcare initiative - SUM Ultimate Medicare (SUMUM) was inaugurated today in the esteem presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other dignitaries.
Congratulating on the launch of hospital, CM Naveen hoped that it will go on to provide the best healthcare facilities to all Odias. Shah too praised the efforts on launching of a world-class healthcare infrastructure. “Having government-funded medical colleges and hospitals sometimes is not sufficient for patient care and that’s where the private hospitals come in. I hope SUM Ultimatum Medicare goes on to provide the top-notch facilities that it promises,” added Shah.
Pradhan thanked CM Naveen for continuing to encourage the developing medical facilities in the State. On this occasion, he also requested Patnaik to implement the central government’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha.
“This not just any corporate hospital, but has been established keeping in mind the patient’s need. We will be providing facilities in closed to 30 facilities and have kept the fee structure reasonable accordingly,” said SUMUM CEO Dr Swetapadma Dash.
Spread across ten acres, the nine-storied hospital has promised to offer next-generation treatment in patient-focused and technology-enhanced settings to the people of Odisha under one roof. It is part of the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) group of institutions.
