Sundargarh District Transport Manager Killed In Road Accident

Sundargarh: The District Transport Manager of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) died after being hit by a speeding trailer coming from Rourkela.

The deceased District Transport Manager has been identified as Amarish Mohanty.

The incident occurred near Phaguapada in Sundargarh when Mohanty was crossing the road and was hit by a speeding trailer coming from Rourkela.

Mohanty was on his way to inspect vehicles when the accident happened. The left lane of State Highway 10 was closed for maintenance, and traffic was being diverted to the right lane, which may have contributed to the accident.
