Sundargarh: A young man from Sundargarh has displayed honest by returning a lost purse with Rs 13,000 cash and other documents to its rightful owner.
Mohammad Rizwan, a young man from the Regent Market Masjid Para area of Sundargarh works at a garage near Shankara Bypass.
He had gone to a tea shop while returning home from work last evening. On his way back, he noticed the purse lying on the side of the road.
Rizwan picked the purse and found around Rs 13,000 cash, four ATM cards, Aadhaar card, and other important documents in it.
The thought of taking the money and throwing the purse crossed his mind but he got concerned about the person who has lost the purse.
According to the name and address on the Aadhaar card, the purse belonged to Nihal Agrawal of the Sambalpur district, but Rizwan was worried about how to contact him.
On searching the purse, he found a bill from a shopping mall that had Nihal’s mobile number on it. He contacted Nihal and informed him about the purse.
Rizwan could have thrown the purse after taking the money but his honesty has earned him praises.
