Bhubaneswar: Sundergarh police have rescued a minor girl who was allegedly kidnapped by youth from Kutra area. A team of Kutra police traced and rescued the minor from Siwan in Bihar.
The accused who allegedly kidnapped the girl was arrested and brought back to Odisha, Rajgangpur SDPO informed. He has been booked under multiple Sections of the IPC and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
“The accused who kidnapped the minor girl was his teacher. The police have seized duplicate Aadhar cards, a motorcycle, some cash and tokens of marriage like vermilion and bangles,” the police said.
