Bhubaneswar: Former Minister and BJD MLA from Bhatli Susanta Singh today slammed specific media houses for publishing false reports of him expressing displeasure at not being included in the Council of Ministers in the May 22nd reshuffle.
“I returned from Delhi on May 20. Earlier I had a discussion with the Chief Minister that I am not in the race for a Minister’s post. Today I came across a report that I have hurled abuses at the CM which is totally baseless and untrue.
I am here for the blessings of the CM. I am the only person whom the CM had not asked to resign. I resigned on my own in 2022 to look after party organisation in western Odisha,” said Singh speaking to reporters.
Singh said that with the Chief Minister’s blessings any project sought by them in western Odisha is getting through.
“Despite not being a Minister all our work is getting done. Our focus is western Odisha,” he said.
On being asked by reporters why his supporters were not happy over his non-inclusion in the Council of Ministers, Singh said that some people getting sentimental is natural.
“I have convinced them that we have the Chief Minister’s blessings,” he added.
