**Angul: ** As many as 9 students fell sick after allegedly consuming eggs served as midday meals at the government-run Koshala High School here. The students fell ill immediately after having the meal.
According to sources, some of the students became senseless while some suffered severe pain in their stomach.
The school faculties immediately rushed the students to the Koshala Hospital and informed their parents.
The eggs, doubted to be synthetic, have been seized by the district administration.
Speaking on this, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Angul, Srinibas Behera said, “Sample of the eggs has been collected. After examination, we will take necessary action.”
