**Bhubaneswar: ** In a deplorable incident, a 4th standard student was brutally beaten up by a teacher for not bringing his notebook to the class. The incident occurred in a private school here in the state capital.
According to reports, the student was beaten so severely that his leg got fractured.
Speaking to OMMCOM NEWS, victim’s father Jibanjyoti Samantray said, “My son was not being able to walk properly when he came back from school. He had suffered critical leg injury due to the punishment. When I asked about it he informed that his science teacher thrashed him because he forgot to bring the science copy.”
