Bhubaneswar: The Indian and English cricket teams have left Bhubaneswar, bound for Ahmedabad, where they will face off in the third and final ODI match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on February 12.

The players departed from Biju Patnaik International Airport in the evening, amidst tight security. Earlier, the Indian team bus left Hotel Mayfair at around 4 pm, with a crowd of cricket enthusiasts gathering outside the hotel to catch a glimpse of their favourite players.

The fans, holding placards and cheering, bid farewell to the players as they boarded a special flight to Ahmedabad. The police ensured the safe passage of the players, support staff, and match officials from the hotel to the airport.

India won the second ODI match against England at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday, taking an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The final match will be played on Wednesday.
