Bhubaneswar: Maximum temperature dropped at several places across Odisha owing to nor’westers barring the western part of the State where six places recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and more.
Out of these two places recorded maximum temperature above 41 degrees Celsius.
Western Odisha towns of Titilagarh and Bolangir were the hottest places and recorded the highest maximum day temperatures of 42.1 degrees Celsius.
The places that recorded maximum day temperatures of 40 degrees or more are Jharsuguda (40.0), Bhawanipatna (40.0), Bolangir (41.2), Titilagarh (41.2), Sonepur (40.3), and Boudh (40.5).
