Bhubaneswar: Temperature is to rise by three to four degree Celsius across Odisha from today while heatwave is likely in some districts on March 16 and 17, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, temperature equal to and above 36 degree Celsius was recorded at 12 places with the highest temperature of 38.3 degree Celsius recorded in Balangir.
Isolated heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, and Bolangir on March 16 and in the districts of Angul, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Khurda, and Nayagarh on March 17.
