Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly killed his landlord on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Susant Satpathy.
Satpathy’s body was found lying in a pool of blood near an engineering college on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar under Tamando police limits.
Upon being informed, police rushed to the spot and admitted Satpathy to a hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
Police, meanwhile, sent the body for post-mortem.
Police suspect his tenant of committing the crime and launched a manhunt to nab the tenant who is absconding following the matter.
Tamando police have also registered a case in this connection and initiated a probe into the matter.
The arrest of the tenant will help police unravel the mystery behind the murder, sources said.
