Tension At Cuttack-AHRCC During Shifting Of COVID-19 Patients, Video Goes Viral

Cuttack: Tension reportedly prevailed at the Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) during shifting of COVID-19 patients last night. In a video that has been doing rounds in social media claims that the patients were unwilling to be transferred to COVID hospital.

The video, described in a male voice, also alleges that a few patients even threatened to touch the people who were present to facilitate their transfer.

The authenticity of the viral video is yet to be confirmed by either AHRCC or the Cuttack district administration.

Notably, five COVID-19 cases were detected from one of Odisha’s premier cancer treatment centres, yesterday. Prior to that, on July 2, 55 people from AHRCC had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
