Bhubaneswar: The annual Terracotta Exhibition will be held from October 13 to 19 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground. This event will showcase an array of handmade crafts, including decorative items, home decor, and traditional Odia artifacts.
The exhibition will provide a platform for artisans from across the state to showcase their skills and sell their products.
According to sources, the exhibition will focus on promoting eco-friendly and sustainable products, with a ban on single-use plastic packaging. Only handmade products will be allowed to be sold. The event will be open from 11 am to 9 pm, providing ample time for visitors to explore and shop.
The Terracotta Exhibition, which precedes the Diwali festival, has been an annual feature, attracting a large number of visitors and shoppers. Around 500 groups are expected to participate, with Khordha district alone having 18 groups participating. The exhibition promoting handicrafts and support local artisans, and is expected to attract a large crowd.
