Bhubaneswar: The Assistant Section Officer (ASO) examination has been conducted in a fair manner and there has been no irregularities, said Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), Satyajit Mohanty on Tuesday.
In a press conference today, he said, the marksheet and answer will be uploaded only after the final result. As per the High Court order, the 2016 norms will be followed.
The current exam had a minimum qualifying mark of 40% for general category and 30% for SEBC/SC/ST. Mohanty said that the candidate would not have been selected if he had not secured minimum marks in any subject. They can complain after the final result is out. If the allegations are true then action will be taken.
It is to be noted that a lot of candidates took to the streets when there were allegations of irregularities in the ASO examination.
